Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.
The Catholic Church practices infant baptism. Registered parishioners are eligible to baptize at St. Stanislaus Church. First-time parents are required to take a class that outlines the responsibilities of baptizing your child in the Church. Baptism classes will be arranged with individual families upon request. Godparents must be practicing Catholics who have been confirmed. No baptism will be scheduled until we have paperwork attesting to the godparents' membership in a parish and a record of their Confirmation. Complete the attached form and return it to the parish office or to Father. We will work with families to arrange a baptism that meets their needs.
